Frozen Nyhavn

Completed in 1675, Nyhavn is probably the most photographed area in Copenhagen.

The name 'Nyhavn' translates to 'New Harbour' and was dug out by Swedish prisoners of war.

This picture was taken in the Winter of 2016 when the sea and canals froze around Copenhagen.

I went down to Nyhavn and took a picture of the boats frozen in the ice.

In 2020, I decided to create a piece that had the appearance of cross stitch but the shimmer of Diamond Painting.

I think it worked out pretty well.

Hans Christian Andersen

Born on April 2nd 1805, Hans Christian Andersen became Denmark's most famous writer.

Most famous for his children's fairytales such as The Little Mermaid and The Ugly Duckling his stories have been translated into more than 125 languagaes worldwide.

Not bad for the little boy who's teachers and class mates laughed at him when he yold them that he wanted to be a writer when he grew up.

This statue of Hans Christian Andersen reading one of his stories from a book sits proudly in the gardens beside Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Graffiti

I often walk around Copenhagen looking for interesting things to photograph.

I discovered this graffiti painted on a couple of old wooden doors in Valby, which is a suburb of Copenhagen.

I took a picture and three years later, decided to have it converted into a Diamond Painting.

The Hover Fly

In the Summer of 2019, I picked up my camera anstook a walk around the Botanical Garden in Copenhagen.

I was just about to take a picture of this flower when a hover fly landed in the center of it and stole the show!

This makes for a very unique Diamond Painting!

Tivoli At Halloween

Opened on August 15th 1843, Tivoli Gardens is the second oldest amusement park in the world.

Tivoli was visited a few times by a certain Mr. Walt Disney before he decided to open his own theme park in Florida, USA.

This picture shows the main entrance of Tivoli during the annual Halloween display which includes over 10,000 pumpkins!

This image is a 60x80cm canvas with square deills and 90 colours.

Other sizes are available and you can choose round or square drills.

The Beetle

This was a totally random and unexpected picture.

I was taking an early morning walk in Copenhagen and saw this very unique VW Beetle parked in the sunshine.

A customised classic car.
