Named after Nikolaj Frederik Severin Grundtvig (1783 - 1872), this church sits in the North West of Copenhagen.
The foundation stone was laid on the 8th of September 1921. Exactly 138 years after Grundtvi was born.
It took 19yrs to build and around 5 million bricks. It houses the longest organ pipe in Scandinavia at 32 feet (11m).
